End of term display of students’ work from art classes with tutor Anna Bisset at Wanstead House Community Association.
“Tuesday Art” takes place on Tuesday mornings at 10.30am-12.30pm and “Portrait Art” on Thursday afternoons, 1.15-3.45pm. “Tuesday Art” covers drawing in pencil, charcoal and pastels and painting in acrylics, oils and watercolours – I take students through a series of projects exploring each medium. “Portrait Art” takes place with a live studio model – students start with drawing at their own pace and some move on to painting in oils or acrylics. Artwork from Wednesday Art with Jamie was also part of the display. This class takes place on Wednesdays with Jamie Fraser, 1.30-3.30pm. This 10-week course includes drawing in pencil and charcoal, and painting in acrylics and mixed media, with still life, landscape and seascape subjects.
